I switched from Chrome to Opera once I realised YouTube was getting slower buffering.
Then from Opera to Microsoft Edge now on W10. I love the browser, hopefully they add extensions soon.

Firefox is even worse. Just block chrome from updating and use an older version.

I read it somewhere that some extension is capable of preventing chrome from freezing. Does anyone know about that extension?

no. I just blocked the site chrome updates from and disabled chrome updater from ms config

currently we just suspend 90% of the tabs with this app when we aren't using chrome actively, saves a bit at times. idk our shit doesn't crash unless it's google play music, shit crashes like clockwork.

Ah sorry the extension is called the great suspender, and you can whitelist pages you don't want it to suspend ever.

i really wanna try Microsoft edge but im so used to chrome it just feels weird but i think it would overall be better. Also i use a chromecast so i still need to use chrome
