Virus Detected But No Virus In File

So i decided to start learning VB.NET. My first project i made was a minecraft account generator.

What it does it that it downloads a file with all of the accounts on the users computer and deletes it when it is done with the file.

I'm pretty sure that this is causing a false positive on virustotal.

Is there any way to make the false positive go away other then crypting it?

(all of my code)

Thanks!
There's nothing in your screenshot that should cause a false detection. You'll have to post your entire source for someone to help more than just saying "comment out pieces until there's no more false positives."

I think, but I am not sure the detection is coming from the downloadfile.
Basic.
It could just be an unrecognized program.

Any other way i would go about getting the contents then?

Using WC = New WebClient()
Dim LikeThis() As String = WC.DownloadString("http://www.website.com/accounts.txt")
End Using

This is my guess.

VB + Downloading on Form load.

Try removing it from Form1_Load.
Using a WebClient to download.
Rather than save a file, just keep it in an array.
If you want to keep using a file, File.ReadAllLines will make things a little cleaner.

You too :P
No,but the false positive should come specifically in VB.NET unless you have obfuscated your code.

What's this suppose to me? The false positive is because he's downloading something from the internet using the method he did and created a text file of it and deleting the text file on close. The method in which is going about storing information is bad and results in "false" positives because it's literally doing some functionality of viruses and the antivirus scans show this.

.NET alone doesn't make things come up false positive, it's what you do that does. And most of the time when it does, it's because you're doing something like the OP.
