[Tutorial] Raspberry Pi or Linux USB Wifi Jammer

Hey everyone so here is a little share on how to make your own home wifi jammer - only to be used on your own network as it is illegal to do anywhere else and in some places even in your own home.
It's not really a RF jammer - it just spams all surrounding networks with deauth packets which will completely drop the connection of all wifi networks around you.
Works well if your a parent and want your kids to get off the net but they are teens and will rage because they know what a working router looks like :)

I would highly recommend not doing this but where I am from - it's legal and therefore you can use this as a learning experience.

xadamxk Wrote:If you aren't very DIY'er, a Wifi Pineapple Mark V and an Alpha Network Adapter will give users plenty of options, you can use the Pineapple's firmware to do this. Along with several other scripts.

Alternatively, you can buy wireless jammers (like this). There are also a few basic mods you can try at home, like this.

Just be sure users are aware of their countries laws. As for the US, it is illegal to jam the frequencies mentioned in the tutorial. More information can be found here.
If you want this to work on a linux bootable usb you can follow pretty much all the same instructions - just change locations of files and add it to your start up script instead of *

Set it up to boot to desktop even though you won't need to - change what ever you need, probably change the overclock settings to minimum so your battery lasts longer.

once you have done that run
apt-get update
then
apt-get install python
apt-get install scapy
apt-get install network-manager
apt-get install tcpdump
apt-get install iw

Then do CD to go main directory

*Only do what's in this spoiler if you want it to start automatically on boot.

Put these 2 files on your desktop and voila.

Run either one to start it or to start manually open a terminal and type in
python /home/pi/Desktop/wifijammer.py

reboot and your done.

Sudo before all commands if needed

This works amazingly well and I always keep a spare sd card with it installed and ready to boot :)

EDIT: This just bought a whole shopping center to it's knees.

Had numerous users message me asking why theirs doesn't run on boot - they all did the same thing and edit the crontab file to pull wifijammer.py and not wifijammer.sh

There's a reason I made it the way I did. Please stop trying to change things - it's simple enough as it is.
Cheers.

Edit: moved. And good tutorial.
Could you make it a little more user friendly/ easier on the eyes?

Most users who would want to use this (and don't already know about it), would appreciate it I'm sure.

Yeah definitely - currently using team viewer from my phone to do this lol can add some pictures and a video of me using it later too if people are interested.
That's intresting,
Posting to come back later and read,
Thanks !

If it has a wireless card that can be put into monitor mode - I am sure it will :)

Cool as bud! Thanks and hope you get it working - feel free to PM me anytime!

For anyone who is interested-
I timed this from completely off to everything dropped = 35 seconds then ran it for 3 hours with out any connection and just timeouts continuously.
Lets be honest - fiance was not happy.
Very nice script, i like how it chooses the best card for the job.
Tested this on kali2.0 ssh session, works well.

Thanks man :) as I said above - I am only a PM away for help
WOW this looks awesome!
What wifi adapter would you advise for the raspberry pi?

The smallest little usb adapter that can be put in monitor mode - I use a TL-WDN3200 TP-Link just because they are cheap, for home use or hot spots but otherwise I use a larger antennae on my custom plate -

If you have a look into using an old satellite dish - it's pretty simple with a copper plate and the right cable adapters.
Pretty cool, Pretty cool, looks like it will work well 🤝

Good shit, I might have to make use of the Raspberry Pi sitting in my closet now.
