-- My Thoughts (EP1-EP11) --
I started watching this anime about 4 episodes after its air date. While nothing special and not a bad anime, it kept me interested in what happens next every week when the new episode would air. It was fairly conclusive everytime, with a mystery popping up and it being solved in that or the next episode.
I figured that the whole thing was just a casual mystery slice-of-life anime, as all of the mysteries never seemed to have any correlation with each other, as much as they were random events and coincidental occurrences. That all changed at episode 11 when I got hit by that mindfuck, thrice in about 5 minutes or less. Really cool how they connected (I think two) cases together under a streamline of many other cold cases. It wraps up the mystery of that painter too.
At first I thought this would be a 6/10 for it being very average and just one of those "watch it if you have the time" anime (good animation, good sound design, great dialogue, average mystery cases). It didn't seem like there was a real point to watching, like the characters had no real goal, and the writers made this anime just to develop a connection between the characters and the viewers rather than focus on a plot. But after episode 11 with how there's apparently a killer who doesn't do the killing himself, taking part of the skull as a trophy, and forcing Sakurako to break off ties with Shoutarou, it's clear that there was a plot all along and the episodes preceding were stepping stones to make that break off much more dramatic. I certainly felt a hit with a "holy shit" followed behind it.
I'm super on my heels to find out what happens in EP12, although I admit I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't Sakurako who get stabbed (because of the drama that'd ensue with "boy") or at least keeping Shoutarou dead. But that's just me rooting for the sad sappy ending.
I love this show, one of my favorites from this season. Not sure how they're planning on wrapping things up in one more episode, though.
I am yet to see this, but I am going to watch it later. I just have one question, is it good?

Since the anime is majorly based around Shoutarou and Sakurako's relationship, I'm thinking Shoutarou follows up with Sakurako anyway, maybe becoming a rogue patient and leaving the hospital early to check up on her. If something like that were to happen, it'd be pretty cool to see that Shoutarou somehow gets killed in the same way Sakurako's little brother got killed, and she finds him. But this isn't a drama anime so I guess I can't really expect something like that. I do agree that this is definitely one of my favorites from this season.

mfw the teacher looks way more interesting than the male MC and I would like an Anime about him
That show deserves a second season, big time. Also, it would have been a bit more popular if the Anime was a bit more darker, but it's still a really good watch.
