Hello, simple question here. If you go in the Members.php and search for users with fuck in their name, you can see quite a few. Some of which are higher up members. But recently, especially after the recent change to "Rep kill", I am wondering if my name is acceptable.
Obviously, this is an adult-oriented website. Even in the rules it says that if you are under 16, at least act like you are 16.
I have come in contact with staff before and have received 1 or 2 warnings but have never received any complaints about my name.
I'm mostly asking because I plan on applying for UB3R but I am somewhat concerned of being closed suddenly without warning if I do. Pretty sure I have nothing to worry about though.

If you've recieved warnings from staff members about your name then shouldn't that tell you something?

If you've interacted with staff before, and they didn't do anything, then it shouldn't be a problem. It is the same as using "fuck" in posts. Omni specifically said there will be no censoring of stuff like that, he just wanted to change RF to RK to give a better perception of him and the site.

I think your name is fine.

I think he means that he has received warnings for other things, but they never said anything about his name.

As for your name I believe it's fine.... it's just an identification.

You wouldn't be closed for your name unless it's a copy of omni or something. You would be banned at most.

If you worry that your name is not appropriate, change it. I don't know whether or not staff will allow it

The name is quite horrible though to be honest, regardless of the rules. It would be hard to take someone by the screen name of "Fiddle Fucker" seriously in any professional scenario.

As for the rules, I don't think it matters.

Yeah, it is quite a bad name and pretty useless, if that's what you want to be known as then that is up to you and your loss.

A lot of members around here doesn't seem to follow the rules either way. Acting like an adult seems impossible for 90% around here, even though I just joined the site a few days ago.

I'm know by this name everywhere and it doesn't negatively affect me in any way actually.

If you have received warnings from Staff regarding your username then you should change it.

As previously stated, the warnings I have recieved were not related to my username.
