Lol wut? Are you purposely trying to discredit his group already lol (Dec 31, 2015 07:41 AM)Wirt Wrote: Well, as we've seen in the past gaming groups don't last too long. Yes because broad groups definitely last a long time and are very active and contribute lots of things. (Dec 31, 2015 07:43 AM)Raptor. Titans don't really have a specific group type that they focus on, yet they're one of the best groups on HF. Neither does The Brotherhood (granted they do occasionally have WHH classes) but they're the oldest group out of the current ones right now, and help out a lot. Your sarcasm isn't needed. ![]() (Dec 31, 2015 07:45 AM)Wirt Wrote: Titans don't really have a specific group type that they focus on, yet they're one of the best groups on HF. Echo is a general group that actually seems cool, but they don't really do anything besides inner-group discussion. Red Lions is inactive as hell. Axiom's being sold after a fairly recent rebrand. Pirates was only a lounge, Fortune was only a lounge, Royalty doesn't really have a presence, Legends doesn't really do much. Don't get me wrong, I respect a lot of those groups, but general groups actually being active and noticeable aren't the norm for the most part in my opinion. I don't see the point in a general group either, it just seems redundant.

I get where you're coming from, but from my experience gaming groups never lasted long either, like Respawn, Skill, and now Axiom. Instinct, while marketed as a gaming group, was more of a general lounge group which was fun. After a while in gaming groups the activity dies down a lot (which could be because a multitude of reasons) I'm not trying to rip on your new group when saying any of this. I hope your new group does well and lasts a very long time, I am just sharing my opinion on the matter based off of my past experiences and what I have seen from other groups prior to this one. ![]() (Dec 31, 2015 07:54 AM)Wirt Wrote: I get where you're coming from, but from my experience gaming groups never lasted long, like Respawn, Skill, and now Axiom. I get where you're coming from, but I find that during their peak, gaming groups impact their community and the general forum in the most positive manner. I'd hate to have a group and it go inactive due to it trying to do and cover too much at once. (Dec 31, 2015 07:58 AM)Raptor. For most of the gaming groups I have been in the subforum was extremely active for the first month or so, then the activity steadily declined to where there was maybe one or two new posts in the subforum every day. Maybe, and hopefully, that won't be the case any more. It was just complicated to keep the activity in the subforum high. Well, whatever happens, best of luck. I look forward to seeing what new groups this forum has to offer. ![]() |
