He's a ranged champion, his "burst" can 100-0 an ADC, and his ult isn't meant to be used for teamfights - it's unique in the sense that it provides map control (which isn't very bronze).

He has range though, especially for top lane match ups - eitherways an ADC gets rekt versus him, say if they're both fed. I'm confused with the "no burst" feature you pointed out, does burst make a good champion?...I mean...the ultimate is used for map control, in old times, Regi used him once and it was pretty OP regarding map vision. But he's indeed not meant to pick for serious matches, but what the hell; I've went with Twitch only to D3(I even pick him as Support in high tier games), so I believe there's people doing the same as Teemo. Honestly, till this day, I have no clue why people take champions as "bronze picks", it's 2016 and lets be real, why are you trying that hard to get Challanger with metapicks and get serious every solo queue...you're not going to gain anything out of it, you're not going to LCS and you don't need to be super high ranked to have a good stream/youtube going.

For people thinking Teemo has no burst, you've clearly never played vs a Luden's Echo - > Lichbane rush Teemo (as I occasionally cheese with in Plat). It 100-0s an ADC.

Shrooms mainly. I don't hate him.

But back in earlier seasons he was very annoying he still is but back then not much counter play for him.

So people just have scars that will never heal.
