The archive contains only the project files, no executables.
No real point in scanning it after compiling it yourself but thanks anyway.
Nice post built one myself using the famous instanceCount and getBetween functions to learn website scraping and was one of my first projects, never published it tho as my friend pointed out its easier to go to the website itself, wanted to implement a scanner so it has an actual use but never actually went thru with it

It actually contains the executable :) You haven't deleted all :P
There is allways one in /obj/Debug/ ;) Next time delete it aswell 🤝

There's also the possibility of hiding malicious code inside the source itself that's executed on debug. But you'd have to be pretty silly to attempt that in a coding section. 😝

For what it does, I think it's okay to call it a 'client'.
But I see what you mean, maybe one day I'll implement a bittorrent downloader with it.
Are there any bittorrent libraries for .NET that I am not aware of? The only one I know of is MonoTorrent but from their doc, it looks heavily outdated and doesn't seem to available any more either.

You can search for System.Net.Torrent on Google, and just press on the first result that comes up.
I had never heard of that.
I'll look into it, thanks.
