Hi!
Thank you for your feedback! Since most of it were in private, let me share what happened so the rest of HF could see as well.
I have received your request to explain how you could use my released tools. I wondered why because I put as much help as I could into them including description of features, features that belong to each other were in the same section also tooltips for almost each box.
These questions most times if not always got cleared up by explaining what "binding", "spoofing" and "byte pumping" are. We know, there are more than one good guide out there. However, it was true, I have not released any manual on my tool so this thread also is a short manual on my tool as well as clearing up for everyone what the mentioned expressions are in an easy way.
So let us start with binding
Binding is the act of creating one file from more files. When the created file opens, the attached files open too. So, it is enough to run one program to get more than one program (application, script, ...etc.) run.
Example:Spoiler (Click to View)
The idea above is based on the assumption, someone will open the file. To get this happen, you may want to make the file extension look like something else. For instance, you may want an executable to look like a .jpg picture. For this you could use extension spoofing.
When you spoof a file's extension, it will SEEM to be a file with the given extension, still it will run in its original extension.
Example:Spoiler (Click to View)
It may happen, extension spoofing is not enough because the difference between the expected and received files' sizes. In this case to hide the fact the received file is smaller than the expected file, you can pump bytes into it to increase its size still not corrupting how it works. This act is called byte pumping.
Example:Spoiler (Click to View)
I do not ask what you will use this knowledge for, but I have written this guide to help you understand or re-understand what these basic expressions "binding", "extension spoofing" and "byte pumping" are. Let me know if I succeeded in it! I avoided in-depth technical details because I wanted to keep this guide as simple as possible as I assume people who look for deeper knowledge could find a lot of more detailed guides on the net.
If you wonder where you could DOWNLOAD the tool I presented these features in, you can read more about it HERE. It is a giveback.
IF you like what you see and DO DRUG, do not forget to CHECK out the tool I have written for you
You may ask questions about my tools in private or at the appropriate thread, you may ask questions about the general terms at this thread.
Best wishes,
Mefie
