I've got a low end Core 2 Quad Q6600, with 6GB of RAM, but I can run Chrome (YouTube, HF and more), with CS:GO running in the background with Photoshop open with no bad lags. But it shouldn't hurt you to leave your browser open...

not working

I have no ideas then, sorry. Maybe Omni added a new rule to forget the session when the browser exits for additional security, but no one but him knows this for sure. Maybe and hopefully he will respond to your issue.
Keeps logging me out. I'm accessing HF from at least 4 devices. This is getting hard

Shit it happens to me too, I don't really mind it though as I always have my phone with me for Gauth.

Damn I see myself using 2FA on daily bases now.

Now what? Your account is secure and that is a pretty low price for that.

This is the best change to HF lately and could have prevented all the drama and scamming bullshit that happened during the last months and also the closure of the CE section.
I'm more than willing to pay this price for the huge amount of security this provides to all HF members.
This security measure was defiantly needed.

I switch from my cell, computer, and University on a daily bases.

So you re-type your password a few times. First world problems huh?

Just that the IP will show up as a different location?

Details get logged in admin CP. Easier to know when an account is sold

It prevents cookie stealing/sharing (which can also bypass 2FA).
I tought in suggesting this ohh, this is good!

Did Mr. Robot replied this thread? I'll read it all, that guy has like 30 different service providers on his Trust Scan, how can this be possible? damn.

Possibly because he uses proxies, not all are blocked for usage on Hack Forums, you just can't use ones by searching "proxy" onto Google. You just have to dig a bit not even that much into proxy options and providers.

Look how much damage Morchid's account did in just hours.

But if someone sold their account, 2FA wouldn't be an issue.
It would either be disabled or shared.

EDIT: I am browsing HF on both my computer and phone. wut

EDIT: wait I am able to aswell.

Mobile data for phone
PC has ethernet.

EDIT: added wifi to phone connection, exited browser, went to HF again, still logged in.

I'm guessing this won't, this will just prevent them from giving the session details out so that a new IP address must be logged + this is in my opinion, more aimed at stopting session jacking instead of account selling prevention.
