Security measure for IP Changes

Omni says that if an IP change were to happen all sessions are destroyed and you'll need to log in again.

But if I change from my WiFi to my 4G network on my phone for example the session isn't destroyed even though it's an IP change. What's up with that? Or does this only apply when you actually log in from a different IP?

Guess changing from WiFi to 4G (Mobile Data) will also kill the current session. Not sure though. Never really tried it out.
