To be fair, you're giving away one chance at award in exchange for 7 months of advertising, which could be why people aren't entering. Good luck with the contest, I just think maybe if you had like one award a month or something you might get more entrants.

I state the timezone also, if people can't read it, then they're retarded.

Doesn't matter if you say it. When you write 8/2/2016 and were trained to read it month/day/year all of our lives obviously it could easily get misread.

And if they skim the title they won't realize it's feb.

I'm just saying you should include the full Month name and day instead of doing 8/2/2016 so that everyone will understand before they click right away thinking this is a half year contest.
