This isn't your run of the mill Ratting Guide, This Guide will include Everything you could possibly ever want or need. Anything Else you think I should add just lemme know in a PM or reply below. Hopefully we can keep this on top or even get it stickied to hopefully clear up any confusion and help newer members of the HF community to get started Ratting. Feel free to Rep or leave feedback as you see fit, but please keep the thread alive to Help HF community.

What are RATs?

A RAT or a Remote Admin Tool, is a program which can be used to control and monitor computers and devices remotely, and can have many uses such as remote desktop control, password recovery, and keylogging. More Advanced RATs may come with Cryptocurrency miners or other Functions which can be used to profit off slaves or Bots.

List of Downloads and RAT programs:

Darkcomet: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=2632776
Quasar [Formerly xRat]: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4107161
njRat: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3924408
LuminosityLink [Paid]: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5072631
Nanocore [Paid]: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4822495
Imminent Monitor [Paid]: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4650635
OS Celestial RAT [Paid]: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4791575
Ratty [Under Development]: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5160062
Can anybody confirm whether OS Celestial is dead?

Recommendations and Ideas on Different RATs:

Different RATs will serve different people and it all depends on purpose. I would highly discourage using Darkcomet as it is outdated and therefore could be a security risk, but it is a great way to learn the ropes and experiment with the program and its functions, to gain knowledge. Optimally, you want to settle for a nice Paid RAT, as they contain the most options and ensure that you can do whatever you want. They also come with support and have developers behind them and support teams to answer your questions and solve your technical problems, something most Free RATs wont have. Won't make any personal recommendations as to which is the Best RAT as I don't want to advertise etc. and I haven't played enough with all of them to make that judgement. Your choice.

How to create your RAT client:

To get started, you need to download or purchase your RAT of choice, then launch. Navigate the UI to reach the client builder. Fill out your desired port and what you DNS servers and stuff you will be using, and temporarily disable your Antivirus or add an exception to the folder containing your RATs, as they will get viral flagged by the Antiviruses and deleted. It is better to keep these in a separate folder to your finished FUD clients, so they do not get mixed up and any mistakes are avoided. You are not quiet ready to spread your RAT yet, you must ensure that it is FUD.

What are Crypters:

Crypters are programs which are designed to encrypt the binary of your RAT clients to make them Undetectable by Antiviruses and to ensure they get past any security and do not get flagged by windows as viruses on the remote PCs. This is essential.

Crypting your RAT client:

It is better to use a paid crypter, as it is very rare that a free crypter will give you an FUD client, and even if it does it will remain FUD for only a few hours, perhaps a day at maximum. Many of them could be re uploaded copies bound with RAT clients and backdoored to take advantage of unsuspecting users. Using a high quality paid crypter allows you to ensure your clients remain FUD for longer, and you really don't want to take the chance to lose all your clients and slaves because you couldn't update your client in time and your free crypted client got detected. Contact developers and make sufficient research to ensure satisfaction with your Crypter of choice.

A few spreading Methods:

Here I will list a few spreading methods to gain some slaves, rating them out of 5 on how many slaves I was able to acquire that way.

YouTube: Find a video of a bot or hack of any popular game and download it from YouTube, then re upload it onto your own account along with a direct download link to an apparent updated or cracked version of that hack or glitch, which is in reality your FUD client either bound to the file from the original video or disguised as the hack. Be Creative. Remember to disable comments or approve them manually, to prevent comments affecting your downloads. [2/5]

Torrent: Much like YouTube, simply download or torrent a popular application etc. which has a large demand, such as perhaps Fallout 4 or Just Cause 3 now. Bind your FUD client to the program, or disguise your client as the program and make it into a torrent, which you upload again onto your own torrent account. I personally recommend spreading on kat.cr. [4/5]

Omegle/Chats: Disguise your client as a video chat client or such, and spread it through the common Human manipulation technique commonly referred to as E-whoring. This method is better for more specific target audiences, or to get specific Geo-located slaves. Slow but steady. [1/5]

A few ways to Monetize your Bots/Slaves:

Pay Per Install: Sign-up to any of the PPI companies or websites. Gather a good amount of slaves and remotely install the software onto their computers until it is counted by the website, then remove it afterwards to prevent the Bots or slaves from becoming suspicious or reformatting their computers, causing you to lose slaves. Can only be done once. Visit my Guide for more details: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5161847

Selling Game Accounts or Currency: You may pilfer game accounts or currency to be moved around and sold for real life profit on forums and websites. Could potentially also lead to victim attempting to get rid of the RAT client as a result of them feeling "violated" or "hacked".

Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency Mining: If you manage to infect a massive number of slaves and are in control of near enough 10,000 or 12,000 slaves or computers, this option becomes viable and has real potential to wield a large outcome. The reason you need such a large amount of slaves or bots to do this is that to avoid raising the suspicion of the said victims, you would have to mine at a maximum of 50% CPU power. GPU mining would prove troublesome and have compatibility and driver issues and such, so CPU is the only way. And since most slaves probably won't leave their computers open and online 24/7, you should calculate for 3-5 hours daily. With this you could average around $15-$20 daily at my last calculation, not sure about right now somebody confirm or update please, This provides you with a decent steady income.

Conclusion:

Just wanted to thank a lot of people for getting me through this whole learning process, it was great. I am sure I still have Plenty to learn, and as I progress I will continue to update this guide and make sure the info in here is accurate. Hopefully this can become the Go-to guide for any newbies going into Ratting and will help some people, and as i said please leave feedback to keep it alive. If anybody feels like I missed anything just let me know in a reply of PM.
Don't think it's fair that you made what seems like a rather HQ thread and haven't seen a single reply.

Thank you for your input in this section, always nice to have a HQ user help out.

Good luck going forward :)
56 posts and 1 rep yet tries to contribute to forum. Appreciated ;)
Thanks Guys :D ! Really appreciate the feedback, and I'm glad you like the Guide. Just a Question though, do any of you know how I would go about getting past the 8,000 character limit?? I hit that during the writing of the guide and need to write more to update the guide and add more monetizing and spreading methods, also still gotta cover VPN and portforwarding, so really need to get past that limit.

There isn't a whole lot you can do now.

In the past I've seen people just post the guide in different parts (ie: keep replying to the thread with different parts of the tutorial), or get a friend to post and then you post, then have your friend delete his post. Then your posts act as placeholders for the future. Good luck with more tutorials going forward!

Alright what I was going to do was just write up different parts of the guide into separate threads and chunks and Link them all back here, hopefully they wouldn't confuse anybody, but now I find out I cant edit my post because It has been posted more that 1440 minutes ago, Not sure what I should do now, close this thread and copy this one into a whole new thread with all the changes I want or is there another way?

You may want to consider organizing the other information you wanted to contribute and express it to the community in a different form of communication; such as a help desk (although there are some of those currently I believe), or something more generalized. Either way it's up to you. I am interested though to see what else is in store 😁

^ What this user said.

Rarely do I come across such well formulated and detailed threads. Minimal, but thorough, I like it.

Well formulated, and well put together. keep up the fantastic work.

OS celestrial is technically still "live" but I dont think much of it personally.

Also, if you have questions about any of this or want clarification, feel free to PM me. 🤝
- Well done man.
This is a great thread, shame it isn't getting too much attention.
It's very informative and does definitely provide some insight on Remote Administration Tools.
Good job.

Also OP, just as a side note, you cannot ask for Reputation in your thread (just a future notice).

Nice tutorial, some screenshots of examples would be helpful
Thanks guys, really appreciate this feedback! I am currently still trying to think up of a way to present this info to the HF community in a better way, and currently writing up another guide / thread which will be much improved, I will upload it in a few hours time or tomorrow at the very furthest, then ill put up its link on here so members can go to it. Thanks again guys!
too tired to read, but it looks good, bookmarked for later.
