Hello! This is a tutorial on how to do a really good looking Youtube banner for your youtube.
It's not really that hard so everyone can do it for sure! I will provide

THE TUTORIAL


So we will start by opening Photoshop and then open the Youtube banner template provided above.
NOTE: You will only see the parts that is inside the blue lines

For this header i will be using this background, so simply drag it in and put it how you want it.

Now its time for the text, of course you could put what ever you want. I will go with Shay Mitchell. I will also add a slogan which is optional.

Now we're going to add a nice effect on the text with some layer styles.
Once you've done it on one you could right click on the text --> Copy layer style then right click your other text and then paste layer style.

It looks decent now i would say but lets add some more stuff in the background to really get it a nice feel.
For this i will be using custom brushes that you also could download from above.
NOTE: Create a new layer when using brushes.

At first this will look really weird and ugly but dont worry. So what we're going to do is to move them behind the texts and change the opacity on them.




Now you can see that it looks a little better but not much so we're going to add a little glow effect on them as well.




When we have that on the first one lets do the same thing on the other one.




Now it looks a lot better, do note that i CHANGED the opacity from 33% to 10%




PART TWO DOWN BELOW

Now we have made some progress, we're not quite done though. It still looks kinda empty so i will add a little more stuff into it.
I will use a grunge texture to get it a little more old school looking.

Then i will just duplicate that layer and rotate it 180 degrees





Now we will add some color correction to get it even more good looking.
Lets make a folder named color correction so you know where that stuff is.

Now find the level option and click the ''Darker''



Lets find some nice colors you like, i chose to go with kinda the same but a little more dark.




And now we're done! Here is how it will look on your youtube page!
