I am not sales trashing; I am considering purchasing OPs service, as I am tired of my Netflix accounts constantly being void.
I just don't want to pay $5.00 for something that gains me nothing over PopcornTime.
Instead of having my information stored, I could just buy a VPN through PopcornTime, have my information a tad bit more secure, limiting my chances of being caught.
I'm sorry I am not someone who just buys shit, and then get arrested a month later.

As for why i would use this over popcorntime.
- You need a VPN to use popcorntime.
- You are downloading the movie, With my service you are streaming content.
Police would have to go through plex to get my servers ip. But i dont ever see that happening with the amount of users i will allow.
Without an IP how do you expect users to connect? Via a domain? That's pretty much the same thing.
And to stream you have to download.
still lurkin. still bitcoin cashin.

Do you really think everyone on plex has a license to host the content that they add? Be serious with me m8. If they store your ip thats beyond my knowledge, Though i've had this server running with users already using it for over two years & i've yet to see a fed pull up in my driveway and arrest me. I can't wait for it to happen srsly.
I just downloaded the program for the first time and those where the two warnings it showed me. In the time it took me to download the first movie i could have streamed 10 minutes into my show already. This is a personal server with a limited amount of users. I assure my video load times will surpass any oversold streaming service that is out currently. There is no load on my server, and if I run into any latency issues with my server ill purchase another and split my client base.
My server is located in canada. Sorry, I did not know what Plex was, I just thought it was your service.
But, I can't follow your sense as per the; used it for two years and not being caught does not play a role, it can happen, and it most likely will, everything does.
So your server is located in Canada? That would scare me a little, as that really limits my safety. Couldn't you get an off-shore server instead?

You would use Plex. They have a online applet that would automatically connect you to any servers that are shared with your account. The applet secures everything sent between the server and client and all data is encrypted.
If you want more information about plex please visit their website. www.plex.tv

Where did you find this information? I was searching various places to try and gather some information about their safety and security for their customers and I found nothing.
> Flinging or casting content using our Plex Companion protocol will not always be secure.
> When making use of a "Manual Connection" that you've specifically added in particular Plex apps (e.g. Android or Plex Home Theater), the communication won't be secure.
> Internal, local requests from the System and Framework components to the rest of the Plex Media Server are over regular HTTP. These requests are only on the local machine itself.
That is what is being saidtated on their very own website - but you just stated they encrypt connections? That is not what is being said on their website.
> myPlex acts as a hub, providing connection information between Plex clients and Plex Media Servers. However, myPlex is not involved in any actual communication between a client and Plex Media Server.
> Some unencrypted connection (originating from this host) will still be allowed when set to "required."
They do not have any safety - and if they do, it is so limited. I am sorry, but I would just be way too afraid to risk me being pulled in for shit because Plex can't ensure my safety. This could be done so simply, but all they do is provide you with a hub, that does nothing but providing a communication between your media server and me, the customer.
Edit: Oh.. you removed your post about linking me to how to add SSL..

By applet i was talking about the webclient. Which is secure.

My server requires all connections to be secured or i will not allow the app to connect to my server.

You won't be connecting to my server manually. You will be using plex to connect. You need my servers IP to connect manually.

What makes no sense to me is; you keep saying I won't directly connect to your server, I will be doing it through Plex – but in the end, I will still have a remote connection to YOUR server, as that is where it is all hosted.
All-in-all, some of my information, is being stored, and that limits my safety a lot.
I don't get why you have to be all defensive, I am, just as well as ensuring my safety, also caring about yours. You might not have known all this.
If you want me to stop, then have a great day.

The only information thats being stored is hosted by plex. You make a account on their service. Not mine.
I get that you are assuring your safety but someone would have to report my activities and provide proof for anything to happen here. I guarantee you cannot pull my servers IP from plex's client or apps.
Vouch for OP. I'll be posting here frequently. For now it's already worth my 5$

Thank you for the vouch. Anyone with questions feel free to pm me.
Still selling access to this server, more movies have been added price remains 5$
Damn after reading this the fact that people think they will get arrested for this is laughable. Don't comment on something unless you actually know what it is.
Still selling this, hmu guys!
