{Must Read For Safe Dealing} Beginners Guide To Using a Middleman

I've had people ask questions about using MMs. How to be safe when using them, how to be cautious and not make any mistakes, etc. So I decided to make this so people can give it a read before using a Middleman for any deal. This will be short for now but I will be updating more and more tonight. Any questions regarding other deals, feel free to post below.

MMs are not only used for deal in the Currency Exchange section. They are also used a lot in Online Accounts and other areas of the forum.

Currency Exchange:

This is where MMs are most commonly used. The majority of exchanges are BTC to Paypal or vice versa. Paypal is very delicate and the money during the exchange should not be moved around too much when dealing with a MM.

Example CE Middleman Deal:

Member A wants to sell $120 Paypal for $100 BTC to member B. Of course, the first thing you should do is find a trusted MM After finding your MM and both parties agree, member B would send the $100 BTC to the MM. The MM will hold onto the BTC until member A sends the Paypal to member B. Once member B confirms he has received the Paypal, then the MM would release the BTC to member A. The MM should not hold onto any Paypal funds whatsoever. I've seen many cases where the money is placed on hold and then it's just a huge issue. Any chargebacks with member A should be discussed in the Deal Disputes section as always.

Online Accounts:

Example Online Accounts Middleman Deal:

Member A wants to buy an online account from member B for $500 BTC (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc). I strongly recommend BTC only for these transactions.. The MM will not have the account in his possession at any time during this transaction. After agreeing to a trusted middleman, member A would send the $500 BTC to the MM. After the MM confirms he has received the BTC, member B will send the account details to member A. Member A will then secure the account(s) and let the MM know when everything is secured. After that, The MM will release the $500 BTC to member B.

I know this only covers 2 areas for now but I will be updating this daily or every couple of days. I'll also be adding a FAQ soon. Again, feel free to post any questions below 🤝
Ayyy I'm a trusted MM in your eyes. 🤝

Much love.
Hey, thanks for the shoutout. Looks like a pretty nice (lengthy, first glance 😵) thread.

My name came before yours.
I don't middleman any deals on- or off-site. Please don't message me requesting my past services and certainly don't fall for anybody who claims to be me.
Very useful for newer members., this should be pinned on all sections.
need to put {MUST READ} in the title :)
Once again an amazing thread by Ryan!
Thanks a lot for this, great guide!
Thanks for this, looks promising and it also looks like it's going to help a lot of members with future deals.

Great guide, hope it prevents some scams out there.

There was an event that occurred once where Member A was purchasing an Instagram account from Member B via PayPal.
Because it was PayPal, I was holding the account details.
I secured the account, changed the email and password, while Member A sent the Money to Member B. The second Member B confirmed the money was received, I sent the details to Member A, but he kept getting an incorrect password error, because Member B had pulled the account. Member A got refunded, but is there a way to prevent this from happening?

I recommend never holding onto the account. Holding onto the money is more than enough. It's they're job to secure it. I wouldn't hold any Paypal either. Cause chargebacks can go to your account.

I'm no expert with IGs, but here are some tips I picked up from experience:
  • Break all links with old emails by resetting the password as 'lost' yourself
  • Connect the account to FB using a disposable
  • Ask to change emails directly instead of asking for the account details (breaks the link for you)

This is pretty much why I always hold BTC while the deal is going on.
And if we do it over Skype I always recommend the user who's buying the Instagram or any other account to screenshare.

If it's invalid, I'll give the seller another chance to fix it. Otherwise I send the BTC back to the buyer as the logins were invalid.

So screensharing is always a good way to see if there's any errors during the deal and great proof if something would go wrong.

Either way, when using a MM when buying an account there is NO need for the MM to have the login to the account.

Exactly, i'm never doing that. I'm simply holding the BTC until the deal is over.
If someone's buying AGC I want a screenshare to see if the codes works or not etc.
Great thread Ryan.

This will def help people out and clear up any of the confusion they may have about MM deals. :)

You can check a code before you send it off without redeeming it, I think.
