Long time since I've been on these forums, but I had a question to pose to the Hackforums community: Is it possible to host and register a website anonymously, and, if so, how is this done?
I'll just be straight up. The reason I'm asking is I plan on hosting a website with videos, and I want to ensure my identity will remain as anonymous as possible to information seekers and government authorities. I owned an online streaming website as a teen that generated thousands of dollars each month, but I eventually shut it down due to a horde of DMCA requests, and other issues. At the time, my personal identity was relatively easy to find and I put myself at risk of being sued. This new website will host similar material, but I believe the content owners will be more aggressive in pursuing infringement.
After doing a bit of research, here is what I've found:
OPTION 1:
Use a website like PRQ.se (hosts sites like Wikileaks) to register domain and host server. These types of providers are known to protect your identity at all costs.
OPTION 2:
1. Use TOR/proxy to protect IP address when doing anything related to your website.
2. Register domain name using fake information
3. Use an offshore hosting provider that is likely to protect your identity
4. Make payments using bitcoins, or other untraceable payment system
Are there any holes in what I said?
And, furthermore, can anyone recommend sites that will accept fake registration information and also offshore hosting providers that actually protect your identity, while also accepting bitcoins?

Civilization began the first time an angry person cast a word instead of a rock.
