Imac 27" 2009 help!

My friend has an Imac with 27" from 2009.
He is going to get a newer one so he will give his old one to me.
I planned to run windows as main OS on it, but I have a little problem:
I wanted to use it to run bots and so on. Unfortunately the computer itself is slow asf. Can anyone of you tell me what I should change to get it faster?
Like, should I get a new CPU, Ram...
Thanks in advance,

The iMac "Core i7" 2.8 27-Inch (Late 2009) technically is a "build-to-order" configuration of the iMac "Core i5" 2.66 27-Inch (Late 2009), but also is documented as a separate model for reader convenience. Other than processor, these two models are identical.

The iMac "Core i7" 2.8 27-Inch Aluminum (Late 2009) is powered by a 2.8 GHz Quad Core Intel "Core i7" I7-860 (Lynnfield/Nehalem) processor with a dedicated 256k level 2 cache for each core and an 8 MB shared level 3 cache.

By default, it is configured with 4 GB of RAM (1066 MHz PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM), a 1 TB (7200 RPM) hard drive, a vertically-mounted slot-loading DVD±R DL "SuperDrive", and ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics with 512 MB of dedicated GDDR3 memory.

Core i7 literally means nothing, except that the CPU has hyper threading. With that said, however, the i7-860 is definitely an old processor. Replacing the HDD with a SSD is what I'd do, that will likely fix the problem.
