A bunch of accounts got attempted to login to. They weren't attempts, but logins. They knew the passwords so Omniscient is urging members to secure their accounts. He thinks it might've been a breach.

Well, it's probably for the best that there is a forced password reset.

You'll need to do it again. I have a lot of work ahead of me this week. But likely by the end of it all PW's will need a reset.

I just did it and I'm keeping the password that has been generated.

Wouldn't mind seeing this happen, will help out the security of our accounts a lot more.

now that I think about it, this will be a very temporary solution, as if people can hack the accounts once, they can do it again. Changing the password will only slightly slow them down

But my dude, I just made a crazy complex password formula I was gonna use for different sites. Now I already need to add some sort of incremental pattern.

A global password reset is a good idea most accounts are hacked over old database leaks.

I remember there's a forum that force me to reset password, then each time I need to access the forum, I always request a password reset coz I never remember what new password I set for it.😧

It's sad people don't take their account security more seriously... It's even more sad, that you would need to do a mass password reset to ensure their account security.

Try resetting your password with an email, and use the password Hackforums supplies you (jumbled letters).

Everytime you forget the password, just check your email ;)
