I also could not use Hotmail, Omni said he emailed all Ub3r members a few days ago and I received nothing not even in my junk folder from HF.

Having a unique email just for HF is a good idea anyways, more security, the better we all are.

From my understanding, there will be a site-wide reset which logs every single user out of their account and they have to click a link in their email to login and change their password.

So yes you will need to change your password.

I suggest everyone use protonmail.com, there's even a PIN to login for extra security.

Not 100% correct.

I used outlook and it completely blocked HF emails after awhile. I never marked them as spam or blocked sender and couldn't get my emails to send through.
Contacted their support and they said they block HF emails due to "malicious content" and to have Omni fill this form out and blah blah.
Maybe it depends where you live cus some people have no issue at all, but then there's those like me who could not get it to go through no matter what (even tried adding @hackforums.net to safe senders, etc).

Outlook is known to have issues with HF, others not so much.

Hmm i did not know this. Personally i haven't had any trouble with it, but i'll switch to another email service towmorrow just to be sure.

If you read it again it will say that it will happend in the next 2 weeks.

Make sure you can recive mails from Admin in the UserCP!

I have unticked receive emails when I get a PM and reticked it over whilst sending PM's to myself but still get no email notification to my hotmail. Is there a safe sender hackforums address I can add ?
