I have unticked receive emails when I get a PM and reticked it over whilst sending PM's to myself but still get no email notification to my hotmail. Is there a safe sender hackforums address I can add ?

After having to prove to Omni that this is my account via a temp account, I switched to Yahoo. But now that I know Yahoo may have the issue, I switched to another one.

I would switch email providers ASAP so you don't get locked out of your account.
I believe you need to receive the email confirmation to that email though, so you may have to contact Omni to switch it manually.
Not sure how he feels about it, but it may be the only option.

I have changed my email to a brand new separate email.
Ensured to receive all PMs from Admins by mail.
Re-validated my F2A code.
Tested receiving PMs through mail by self testing a PM.
I have not yet but will be updating my password during the mass pw reset.

I'm worried a bunch of people will not see this thread, be using hotmail or another service that blocks HF emails and then we will have hundreds of people locked out of their accounts :(

I use hotmail, but I received the email Omni sent out a few days ago. Does that mean I will get the future email(s) too? I'm assuming it will work just fine? I have receive an email from administrators checked btw.

Edit: I just tried it with the notification on PM and sent myself a PM but did not get an email. Is it usually instant? If yes, I will be switching to Gmail probably.
