You must have a positive reputation score to post in our Marketplace.

I'd like to buy a product from the marketplace, the seller however didn't provide any contact information in his topic, I can't leave a reply in the thread asking for contact information without this error popping up:
Quote:You must have a positive reputation score to post in our Marketplace.

I am also unable to send him a PM due to my low post count.

How am I supposed to get in contact with him?
You could provide HQ posts to earn some rep but I'll give you 1 so you can post in the marketplace
As the rule states the reason why you need positive rep is so you 'deem' trustworthy to the market place community.

VPN? :)

You cant access hf with vpn...
Don't use a VPN, they are blocked for a reason and it counts as MA'ing if the IP is already registered.

The majority of them may be but it's impossible to prevent every single VPN / proxy from accessing your website.
This thread was not necessary.

Kinda defeats the purpose of needing +rep to post in the marketplace, doesn't it?

Let's assume I purchase something (via autobuy) in a topic that doesn't have contact information, the product doesn't work as described or doesn't work at all.

How am I supposed to inform the seller, or other potential buyers?

Not saying that I don't agree with the protection of buyers / sellers, but this system seems kinda flawed (for new users).

You are to make 25 posts before you can contact the seller. It takes only a couple of minutes to reach this number.
I don't middleman any deals on- or off-site. Please don't message me requesting my past services and certainly don't fall for anybody who claims to be me.

If by that you mean spamming one-liners in random threads, then I guess you're right.

If you were to look at my post history, it crossed my mind that this was the way to go and I actually started to do it but stopped after 2 posts because for me that was not the way to go.

So what's the point of having those limitations if you can just nullify them within a few minutes by spamming?

Just check out the lounge and join discussions without spamming.
Goodluck.

Well if you make LQ posts you get negged for it. So spamming wouldn't really be an option.
