If there is a modem that I know the user/pass to the administrator router configuration panel through the ipv4 default gateway IP, is there any way I could find out the wifi password to it? If I'm not already connected.
Can you hack wifi if you know the router config password but not the wifi password? |

If you can get access to a system that is already connected to the network, you can then gain access to the CP from that system and allow yourself to connect by manually adding your MAC address to it or simply viewing the current password and using it to connect your own device. Try running some tests on the network with a tool like Kali Linux. What tests? where can I find tuts about these tests? Btw, what are some cool things that can be done if with the cp login credentials? aside from seeing who's connected to the network? You should really play around with it and get to know it before actually trying to attack anything or anyone with it. As for the CP details: if you can log on, you can do pretty much anything to the network. You can change the WiFi password, add and remove users from the network, filter websites, bottleneck up and down speeds, and depending on the router, send files to various machines on the network opening a whole new set of doors. If you haven't already, take a look on this thread: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4523814 Keep calm, chive on.

I don't have nothing. I only have the DEFAULT user/pass because the guy didnt change it. (May 17, 2016 09:31 AM)zetustiger5 Wrote: No no. EviL twin, phishing, SE, etc. Good luck! 🎉 (May 17, 2016 09:14 AM)theChive Wrote: allow yourself to connect by manually adding your MAC address to it what do you add your MAC address to? |
