Graphics Processor

Suggest me a GFX Card :D

I want to buy a card in the 250$-350$ range that can run all triple A titles at ATLEAST medium-high settings. Is it possible? (excluding horrible optimized games)
Thanks

I think I have decided the Nvidia gforce GTX 970 Is this a good pick?

Also is it going to do anything bad if I put in completely an over kill GFX card and CPU with inexpensive other parts excluding Power supply.
I'd wait until we know more about the 490 and 480 (benchmarks) since that could be a card in your price range and it competes with the Pascal. The 970 is a good card, but the 390 > 970 in most cases.

EDIT:

You should provide us with your full build then we would be able to determine whether or not there are bottlenecks.
1070 looks like a great card, perticularly if you're willing to dish out cash on a 1440p monitor. But honestly, I'd give it a couple months and see what the 480 & 490 have to offer. Gl w/ build :>

Its like 300$ more.. Am I wrong?
You can get yourself a 390 for a little less than $300 right now, or wait a few more weeks for the 480 which will start at $230 for the 8gb version.

EDIT: Don't get the 970, the 390 is better. What power supply do you have btw?

I can buy a new one or re use the "Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply"

I think it's like $600 at launch, so I think you're correct. I'd wait until the 480 comes out as that will more than likely be higher performance, and at a lower price.

Wattage wise it should be good but I would recommend getting a better power supply with the rest of the budget since the Corsair CX series is known to be low quality
I dont really want a ATI gfx card. Is that a stupid Idea?

ATI is long gone so no that is not a stupid idea.

Only GPU companies left for mainstream is Nvidia, AMD, and Intel.
Be careful or you might get sarge'd

But AMD bought ATI right? So now they make their cards.

BTW I meant AMD. Because I don't like their software very much and I really like the software look and everything else of Nvidia cards.

PLUSSSSS Nvidia hogs all the technology to themselves and AMD releases their technology to the public.

No not really
R9 390 is a better pick

RX 480 when it comes out would be a better pick.

All Nvidia technology AMD has their own versions for which was often better. With exception of physx.

AMD will give you things like freesync. Gsync is complete shit, its strictly worse than freesync & it cost 200 bucks to add and freesync is free.

Nvidia drivers are unstable as shit, and their geforce experience is shit.

If your streaming both AMD & Nvidia have programs to stream or record, however AMD has better codecs which also work with OBS. But I would recommend to use Intel quicksync to stream/record as it will use ur igpu mostly.

Nvidia has a fast sync which doesnt need to be used by the monitor.. Its mostly only for fast paced online games though (all I play...)

Also I just looked up a price VS performance graph and nvidia had the 1rst and 3rd spot on the graph Also they are quiter and cooler and easier to overclock. Just an opinion and I would pay and extra 20$ for a sick GFX card like how nvidia looks

Can you please link these examples of nvidia being better price:performance?
You even state you are willing to pay an extra $20 for the looks, meaning given the same performance costs more with nvidia........

As for being easier to OC, that is complete bullshit, the steps are the same for either brand.
