[Free] Runtime Scans | Limited Time | 6 Popular AV

For coders & product owners.
Spoiler (Click to View)

Sup guys, said I was gonna do this but I kinda forgot about it so it never happened.
I currently have multiple VM's setup where I'll be doing runtime scans.

I'll be doing 5 - 10 of these scans for free for now. (Spread over a x amount of days period)
This is me testing out how all of this works and if it's viable to continue in the future.
If all goes according to plan I might turn this into a paid thing or it might remain free I'm not sure yet.

Currently I've got the following AV installed.

- AVG
- Avast
- Avira
- Bitdefender
- ESET
- Norton

How will I be doing these scans?
The antivirus will be turned on without any additional settings at start.
I will then run your file. If it does not catch it I will do a scan of all the directories your file hides in.
For that scan I will use whatever settings catch my eye. (as every normal AV user would)
If the scan does not catch it I call it a bypass.

NOTE: Due to comments I will only have 1 AV per VM so you can be sure nothing is messing with end results.

What settings will I use?
I'm going to use every setting a normal AV user would use.
Basically if it's there catching my eye I'll use it.

DO NOT ASK ME FOR THESE SCANS ON SKYPE! Post here, if you're lucky you'll receive a PM from me and we can discuss further on skype. If you PM me or ask me on skype I won't reply and you'll be denied from further scans.
Posting this a bit early, I'll probably be doing my first scan tommorow/the day after.

Leave some feedback if you think this is a good idea, or if I should go fuck myself. 👍

Feel like donating?

Multiple antiviruses in the same machine are very likely to conflict and not work properly.

I've limited it to 2 AV's per VM. Is that still going to cause trouble?
I can do 1 AV per VM but that's going to eat my HD space.

I would do one per Vm if I were you. Just limit the HD space when you Setup. I nearly did this for myself but could never be bothered! Good luck.

Yes it's going to cause trouble.
Make snapshots!

Very well, let me install some more VM's.

Install only one VM and make snapshots!

No idea what a snapshot is.
Regardless I've already got 4 set up so 2 more won't take long.

Thanks for the comments & feedback Wardow & UK. 🤝

What VM software are you using?
A snapshot saves your progress, you can revert to them at any time.

I am be interested in testing your service and I will gladly pay for this to be done.
Best of luck bro. Looks like a worthy service.

No reason to pay man. Doing this out of my own free will. :)

Interesting, I never use snapshots but I'll look and see if my software allows that. I use oracle VM but just make clones and make new ones each time I use one. Only takes a min to make a clone.

I use snapshots, its much easier to reset what I have done, like an undo button.

Same. Snapshots are a gift from heaven. @OP If you're using the VMWare Workstation it can be found on the top toolbar with the little clock icons. Think of it more as a better and directly integrated system restore.

Yeah just had a look at snapshots, looks quite interesting indeed.
Still going to be doing seperate VM's for each AV tho.

Snapshots will come in handy when testing stubs for people. :)
