One more thing to add to your thread maybe. I tested with Cyberseal (.net) and Static Crypter 3 (Autoit) and in both cases I had to always ''inject to self'' when crypting the server. I also found that if I ticked UPX to build then the server would corrupt. I would be interested in your findings in this as well and possibly add this to the thread.
PMing you now regarding my skype, and I have updated the thread with a 'Known bugs and relevant information' section at the end noting this information. Thanks for the information.

Cheers Kenjii, this is actually the first tutorial I've done so any feedback is welcome!
Cool. I was feeling stupid when it came to those unlabeled edit boxes in the create server section.

Yeah don't worry it's just not you :) Hopefully they'll be added in the next version.
Excellent tutorial. Thanks @Bzrk.

Does the get password function work when u have a client? because I tried this on myself and I go to control options for client (myself) and looked at the password list and it was empty?
Also I would like to add, tried to crypt it with Inferno Crypter (Free FUD crypter that's new) and it was a 12/35 detection on nodistribute, tried using same settings on crypter as I did with the darktrack stub with a NJ rat stub and got a 1/35 detection. I don't think its cryptable. It would be helpful if you posted a list of crypters that ARE compatible with this RAT.
Nice tutorial. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately I have not tested the Inferno Crypter with this so I can't directly answer your question, but I am well aware that CyberSeal works perfectly with it, and I believe UKNinja has successfully tested Static Crypt v3 with this too. Most crypters should work - if not double check your settings and / or contact crypter owner for more information.

This tutorial was done in a virtual machine - you must be doing something wrong. Do you mean running the binary or the controller? Make sure anti -virus' and firewalls are turned off.

It works fine on a VM with NJ rat maybe some settings arnt fully functional but its not showing up as a client on DT. Obviously ports are fine because it work fine when I execute the stub myself and a stub from NJ works on VM
"persistent server" doesnt work? i tried it on vm, killed the process and it didnt respawn or anything like that..
