I want to join groups, but I can't see why I would do this.. 😧

Questions:
Do you guys still hoping for joining groups? Why?
What about buying into one.. why?

Reasons:
Can't see new groups staying here for more than 1-2months.
Buy into a group and then it closes.. don't do this! Buy yourself a toy or donate the money to Omni.

I remember I left Royalty because I'm busy irl, the group was doing really good.. everyone was working on projects. Last time I was there, I liked it. This is a group that I would rejoin if I had more time for HF.
Another group that I never joined but I always kept an eye on is Null for it's pen-testing skilled members! Congrats!

Joining groups can connect you with other members throughout Hack Forums. Usually if you're just lurking, posting or whatever you don't really connect with anyone.

That's one of the reasons why I wanted to join Enigma. To connect with people who share similar hobbies(gaming)

I haven't tried applying to one but I plan on doing so towards the end of the summer. The main reason I want to join one is because I have not really connected with anyone on this site in my 2 years here. I see lots of people who seem to have made close friendships and I haven't tried to do that yet. Pretty much just kept to myself.

For the second part of your question I don't think I would ever buy in to one.
