We stand with Dallas Police Department

Last night a peaceful protest erupted into chaos when Dallas Police Officers were being shot at, Currently the death toll is at 5 Officers Deceased and 7 injured including 2 civilians, The suspect was then killed by a bomb. The suspect had claimed he had acted alone Chief Brown said an investigation into the ambush continues.
"I'm not going to be satisfied until we've turned over every stone. We've got some level that this one suspect did do some of the shooting. But we're not satisfied that we've exhausted every lead," he said. "So if there's someone out there who's associated with this, we will find you, we will prosecute you, and we will bring you to justice."

How do you feel about what has happened?

First time I'm hearing of it, got a link?

I feel like it was completely justified.

This isn't just about one policeman harassing/murdering one black man. The police system in america has AS A WHOLE been SYSTEMATICALLY harassing and murdering black people since it's inception.

It's not about hating the individual police officers anymore. It's about hating the police as a whole. And that hatred is COMPLETELY justified.

Yes, some potentially innocent police officers have lost their lives, but it's the only avenue for black people to vent their anger now, seing as the justice system does not fairly deal with murderous police officers. 3 months paid leave and then resumed service is not a suitable repercussion for murdering an innocent (or guilty, for that matter, unless they pose immediate threat to life) person.

This is the only option they had for justice.

It's time for america to re-think their police system.

Just FYI: I'm not black, nor am I american.

Well I'm saying I do see your side to this, But if you were a police officer you'd see it much differently, Those officers yesterday said goodbye to their families one last time, Not knowing they weren't going to come home, Those officers left a life behind them, there's one thing that's true, There is a human behind that badge and human life is precious, we've all seen the videos of people being abused and beaten by cops, There are cops out there that just shouldn't be cops, But as a First Responder I can't really agree that opening fire on officers that had nothing to do with that incident is really necessary.

It's sad that some maybe innocent cops paid for the error of other cops but in the same time with the situation going on in the U.S with all those black people killed for nothing, this kind of incident was coming without a doubt.
Give me a real source or more than one source wtf is that bullshit

If only the police had that attitude when they killed some innocent person randomly.

I would agree with you, but in this case I can not. And let me explain why. You say it was not necessary, but tell me, innocent black people died at the hands of cops, tell me, what are THEY supposed to do? Those cops will NEVER be punished under the justice system in america, I'm asking you, tell me, what avenues do the blacks in america have to stand their ground? Are you asking them to shut their mouths and be constantly subjugated by white cops for ever? No. That is unfair. Innocent cops died today, but that was not the fault of black people, that was the fault of the police and justice system in your country. Simple as that.

Lol @ all of this.
Do you know how many black people are shot at by cops? LESS than the # of white people that are shot at by cops. Do you know how many black people are killed by cops for unjust reasons? LESS than the # of white people that are killed by cops for unjust reasons.

Did you know that only around 1-2 "disputed shootings of black people" happen in America each month? Source: Barrack Obama's speech
Did you know that only a small FRACTION of these 1-2 disputed monthly shootings are declared "unjust"? Do you know what this means? This means that the amount of innocent blacks being shot by police is a tiny number, and the number is still lower than the amount of white people unjustly killed by cops.

Please do some fucking research before you come in here and spew bullshit man.

Stop talking fucking bullshit. Do a simple fucking google search before trying to act smart.

Lol... Clearly you're the one not using Google.
If you do a Google search for "black vs white death from cops" or something similar you'll see that there are far more whites being killed by cops than blacks. You're a troll and I'm done replying to this thread. Your last reply PROVES that you haven't done ANY research and are unwilling to do any in the future. LQ troll.

I do see what you are saying but what do you think is going to happen now? A Dallas police officer just lost his partner/best friend, For all we know he could open fire at one of these rallies. All I see is that the Justice System needs to be fixed and for cops to be tried not as cops but as civilians. The system is more lenient on them because they're supposed to know the law and always claim they were threatened which is complete bullshit, I watched a video where a cop had his knee on the guys left hand and was holding the guys right hand and he point blanked him in the chest, and that cop will get in no trouble because the guy had a gun, If I had a gun (I'm white) I would of been taken into custody not shot at or beaten.

I don't give a shit about races you fucktard. I was just using that to illustrate why what happened today actually happened. This isn't about black vs white, this is about innocent people vs cops. What you just posted makes the argument for standing with the police even weaker. Police should not be killing ANYBODY unless they are clearly about to kill someone else.

Also, those statistics you reported are statistics released by ding ding ding the police/justice department. Totally credible. All you need to look at are the videos from the last few days, there are just 2 incidents that happened to be recorded, there will be many times more that are unrecorded. Regardless, even if just 1 person was killed unjustly, it is still a serious issue, police officers should be held accountable, and they are not right now, and that is what I am protesting.

Please argue about something relevant instead of talking nonsense you fucking spastic.

I agree with that part, but sometimes the only way to initiate change is with shock/force. People have been demanding for years that the police be held more accountable, but until now, nothing has happened.
