You guys might hate me for this but I feel like Emilia is either related to or is the witch. She currently isn't evil but I feel like once she feels too rejected she will show her evil side unless Subaru convinces her that she doesn't need everyone to understand her.

Edit: I also think she was the one who froze everyone at the end.

I'm still wondering why she even called herself Satella in the first place. Yes, I know Subaru already came to the conclusion that she wanted to seem "crazy" or whatever because nobody dare calls themselves the witches name unless they have a death wish (as stated by Beatrice).

However, I really don't think that is the case. There's more to it than that IMO.

That latest episode ending had shades of South Korean thriller written all over it. Not kidding watch the ending to old boy or something, Rezero really revealing it's influences. Still magnificent, it's beautiful and the soundtrack was fucking gorgeous. Show is so hype.

I think she called herself Satella, maybe because she didn't trust him enough at the time to know her real name.

Even though that could have been Rem/Ram who was the daughter.

Spoiler (Click to View) That gigantic monster that appears at the end before the credit scene is puck. The voices are the same, and if you watch the first time Subaru died, where he got his fingers cut off, it's the same type of magic puck uses. When he says "Sleep along with my daughter" He doesn't mean intercourse or anything he just means stay in a frozen slumber, but he actually just dies.

Actually, Puck usually refers to Emilia the same way. He calls them his daughter for some reason. I don't know if he was referring to Emilia or Rem. I'd like to think that Emilia was still alive at that point while Puck was protecting her, but I don't know.

The plot reminds me of the movie Edge of Tomorrow.
Nevertheless, I've heard way too much about this show to not watch it.
