They're not counted as per the script which was released on HF for tamper monkey, which counts your char number as you post.

I believe, smilies, tags and spaces are not counted. I could be wrong though.

I actually won 1 the very first day i was like OMFG i had only made 3 posts and won ..

Next day it was gone i was like WTF ..
So i sent Omni a pm and he replied yes you won 1 but i took it away because your post was BS
So theres a little tip for you don't shit post and you might have a chance ..
