I personally would go Vaporeon but that's just me. If you've already done "Rainer" I believe it's going to be random. I'd go for Flareon for #2 choice. Have a 2000 cp+ one myself.

Always go with Vaporeon. Jolteon and Flareon are honestly useless. If you're going to use an electric or fire pokemon in a battle, use an Electabuzz or a Magmar. Vaporeon has the highest DPS and HP and highest CP per evolution/power up. Honestly one of the strongest Pokemon in the game.

Damn congrats. I'm saving candies for my Gengar right now. Currently, have an 890 cp Haunter and am going to evolve it soon. Still have yet to see a wild one myself but want to add one to my collection.

I finally managed to get enough candies for a Venusaur. I just used him in a battle against an 1800 and a 1900 Lapras, and he beat both of them without dying. My little guy is only 1500. Any of you ever battled with a Venusaur? He's actually strong as fuck.

Ghastly isn't too common in my area so it should take a while until I get a second Gengar.

I caught a CP 1264 Venusaur at a 7-11 over the weekend. Yeah, he's strong, but not my best. Good one to leave at a gym.

Correction my Haunter is 882 cp. I currently have 68 / 100 candies for it right now. Just a slow grind. Haven't found a Ghastly in two days now.

What level are you? Just find a nice spot with 2-3 Pokestops touching each other, Guaranteed there will be a ton of people sitting there placing lures on them, so you don't have to pay a dime. Catch every Pokemon you see and evolve the low-cost ones, such as pidgey, caterpie and weedle and then transfer them after you evolve them once. You'll power through levels and then start catching some higher CP pokemon.
