So I went to a club for the first time and I went to the bar and I asked for a
beer, he said it was $6 so I gave him a $20 note and then he gave me $4 change,
so I'm assuming he thought I paid with a $10 note and not a $20.

When I realised that he had given me that much change, I said
to him "you only gave me $4, I paid with a twenty" and he denied
it. I ended up just giving up and walked off.

I know it's not much money but it's pretty annoying when you were
planning to spend that fresh ass cash on a McDonald's feed after getting
pissed.

Should I let this slide, try contacting them or report the club somehow?

No idea what to do! 😁

edit: Have come to the conclusion that I will be going back to the club, leaping over the bar and putting my nut sack in his face for playin' me

Write a formal complaint, The bartender has a boss, It's not worth threatening legal action and there won't be much proof to backup your statements other than yourself, So hopefully they'll reimburse you.
