What do you mean by this question? It's free (as long as you have the necessary card), but I don't think you can redo it after the next month with the same card or on the same Skype account.

Oh right, I wasn't aware of that. Logically, you can select whether or not Skype should automatically bill you for the next month when you are inputting your details in order to get it for the first time.

Yeah.....from my experience I remember skype many times charged my card month after month even though I selected one month only. Then getting someone from their cust, service is another story. Be aware skype and credit card charging issue :)
