Nope, as stated many times in the thread, We will not begin to vet candidates until recruitment closes.

I looked at everyone's apps and I think only two of them have a chance of being accepted, maybe 3. 90% of the people applying don't understand the caliber of members that RL is looking for, so many LQ apps that don't stand a chance as some members mentioned.

Just a tip to everyone, in your skills you should try to be original unlike the "marketers" and "advertisers". How the hell would those skills even serve the purpose of the group?

If you were to look at your app as a leader of RL, would you accept yourself? On top of simply applying you need to have a positive presence on HF. Why put a ton of work into an application if you can assume the outcome, it's not like they're flipping a coin.

My personal vouch is with Mr. Robot, not his application but him as a member of this forum. He is an incredibly kind person who will help any member in any way he knows how. He's of higher quality than some current RL members and he definitely puts way more effort into helping individual members than some RL members combined. Also the fact that he doesn't deal with the marketplace is a godsend, forget the idea of using RL to profit. He would be my first accepted member from this recruitment. Obviously I'm in no way affiliated with RL but that's my take.

1) Everyone claiming to contribute knowledge and tutorials after they're accepted should post them now to actually prove yourself to be worth accepting.
2) Stop kissing ass for why you should join. Something more along the lines of "I think I would perfectly fit in with RL and its members" is much better than "I've been dreaming of joining RL since I joined HF because they are the last good group".

Some of you are also posting giveaways as contributions, try to read a little. Don't even get me started on the morons linking stuff they sell. 🤦‍♂

What are some of my skills : Don't have very many skills. Besides being a good modder, And being able to sell GCs ( Fast ) Not sure if that's a skill but hey .

How much will i contribute to the group : I can always pitch in some things in projects or ideas ( Money wise ), I can share my ideas with the group i'm an active member i always try to help people when i can .

Reason why i want to join : Honestly why i would want to join. Is because this would be by first HF group. And you guys seem like a HQ group don't think anyone in your group has scam reports open. And just wanna be around alot of really cool people . And meet new people . I would love to have people that are there for me. And people to talk to about stuff. And you guy's are a interesting and unique group .hopefully i can get in and join a HQ group as it would be my first. Seems like the perfect change the join such a HQ group .

How much time i can devote : I can devote a ton of time i have a shit load of free time and active everyday on hf & skype. For at least i would say 6 hours if not more . And will do every group active i can .

These two posts are going down hill a bit. Very aggressive and you actually made a user remove feel bad enough to remove his app entirely.

You're being awfully aggressive and judgemental for users who are simply curious and optimistic. Don't you think members of the group should be the ones to ridicule posts and comment on applications? I am sure people appreciate your perspective, as do I, but there is no need to be mean towards members who are just giving it a go. No one's perfect.

Yes my reply to that users app was a bit "aggressive" but I mean everyone uses their own assumptions when reading a sentence. I didn't mean for it to sound as bad as everyone perceived it, I was only trying to help his app in the end anyway.

I still don't understand how he came to the conclusion to remove his app from what I said. I said that I didn't like his choice of text color and that he has multiple grammar mistakes. That has nothing to do with the content of the application at all so I'm not sure what he was thinking. In hindsight I should've probably PM'd him with my thoughts as well. I'm probably going to apologize rn.

Also I'm not trying to make any impressions on RL since I haven't applied nor planning on it. Just trying to help other members out but I guess it came out a little harsher than planned :P

Well if you know anything about applications my advice was VERY general and could be applied to every possible application for any position in the world. Because of this general nature of the advice I don't have to be in RL to see that it would improve anyone's application.

If anyone wants to talk more PM me, this is an application thread after all and I didn't plan on my posts even getting reply. :P
