I've been using this for a while now to setup different Shopify shops, it's useful because it gives you enough time to see if your niche is worth continuing.

You can also sign up with a VCC if you don't fancy using your real card details, and ofcourse you can cancel it anytime.

I normally use the most expensive package and if I want to carry on with my site I downgrade it to the cheapest before the trail runs out

Nah you can use whatever, if your going to use it long term I'd recommend real info.
