I've extracted all files and followed every step up to the point where you instruct us to go to 127.0.0.1/sqli or localhost/sqli but I keep getting this error: imgur dot com/a/O9LVH Thanks
It's easy mate 🙂
Just follow my this tutorial.
==>Setup pentesting lab's in kali linux<==
But just remember few things before watching my tutorial.
1. As i think you are using latest version of Kali then your Apache directory is::
Quote:var/www/html/
2.In latest Kali [because its not debugged properly] you can start your apache2 and mysql service using::
Quote:/etc/init.d/apache2 start <- For starting apache2 service.
/etc/init.d/mysql start <- For starting mysql service.

Do I need to redownload sqli lab and start again?
Do you have teamviewer or Anydesk so i can help you ?🤝
and are you sure you renamed the folder correctly?
(Sep 3, 2016 06:13 PM)Gachi Wrote: Yes, all folders are renamed correctly as shown in your video. imgur dot com/a/5hSOQ
I'm not comfortable using teamviewer.
Would you recommend anything else I could do? Should I redownload the sqli lab?
No i got the bug 🎉
Move all the folder's:-bwap,dvwa,oswap and sqli in html folder that you are seeing their as i told you in my previous post it should be under:- /var/www/html not in /var/www
So move all the folders in html folder that you are seeing their.
(Sep 3, 2016 09:01 PM)Gachi Wrote: That's my problem, I have configured everything after moving them to /var/www/html but the pages are the exact same in the pictures I linked above. 😧
Go to sqli folder then in sql-connections
Now follow my steps:-
1. Open new terminal
2.Type this in your termianl:-
PHP Code
<?php cd /var/www/html/sqli/sql-connections
3. Then type :: sudo leafpad db-creds.inc
and it should look like this:-
PHP Code
<?php
//give your mysql connection username n password $dbuser ='root'; $dbpass =''; $dbname ="security"; $host = 'localhost'; $dbname1 = "challenges";
?>
and then go again to your browser and setup database 👍
Actually i can do it for you but you are worried to give your teamviewer session 😊
Thanks 🤝

Unfortunately this didn't help. Still getting same blank page on localhost/dvwa and localhost/sqli/sql-connections/setpup-db.php still doesn't show any table of contents.
Just going to start on a new Kali Linux and try again.

Yeah that's true that i was using Kali Linux in my tutorials but check it again it's version 1.1.0 of Kali Linux[Now old version]
but after Kali Linux made its 2.0 and rolling edition it became worst OS in my views[I know their are a lot of Kali Linux fans here and a lot of hackers prefer it i appreciate it, but i start hatting Kali due to a lot of error so i tried Parrot Security OS which is user friendly and Easy to use 👍
I will recommad you to use:Kali linux 1.1.0a,Parrot OS
