I know this kind of a nubish question but what do you guys think is the best language for writing a RAT.
I would be looking to implement a few functionalities including:
Keylogging
screen viewing
Some things to consider I would imagine would be
Detectability (I don't know if this has to do with the original language or just the crypting process)
APIs available to bootstrap the tool

Phyton and C# could handle it all

But are they the best though :D? Which one of those two would you most recommend?

Personally I'd recommend C++ or C#. Honestly any C language and you'll be fine. I prefer C++ just because I know it better.

Can you point me towards some things in the language to use or should I just try to learn C++

C# is not a C language.
It's a .net language. It's almost like Microsoft's java.

I made a small C++ beginner tutorial that you can look at to get your feet wet. I never really finished the series, but there's 2 parts that goes over some basics that you can look at to decide if it's the language you wanna use.

Even Java was derived from C, anything that uses braces. To be honest though, I was thinking Objective-C when I wrote that, but either way..I would write this in C++.
What about C libraries for RATs, any suggestions? I have done basic tuts stuff already.

If you're somewhat familiar, I would look up the source code for old RATs or tools that do what you're wanting and learn how it works. That's how I originally got into it.
I.e.

You moron.
"Broadly speaking, C-family languages are those that use C-like block syntax (including curly braces to begin and end the block)."
Just because it uses braces doesn't mean it is derived from C lmao.
And just because the compiler or interpreter of a language is written in C doesn't make it a C language either. CPython is written in C. That doesn't make Python a C language.
Can you have a look at Delphi...got something cool from a friend
