I was purchasing an amazon giftcard from this user, we agreed that I would send $40 PayPal first. After I sent it he went "afk" for 10 minutes. Then I messaged him and he said the money is fraud.

He's trying to pull off a quick scam and I'm not going to let him get away with it.

You can click the transaction button and click "Refund" but he's too stubborn to do that.

I'm just putting this out there so people know not to EVER do PayPal deals with him.

He can't fight this, his only excuse is "I want to let PayPal deal with it". There's absolutely nothing to deal with, it's just a refund.

i told him man what are you doing trying to scam me with goods and service will take the amazon and then open dispute on me and get both!

If that was the case why are the funds frozen and why did I get an email (you can see the email in op) to not send any items or services until paypal reviews the payment!

He provides completely irrelevant information and thinks people on HF will fall for it.

Even if the funds are frozen, it still gives you the option to refund the payment and everything is done.

Explain to me why you can't do that? I really want to hear this.
