Now, not to totally suggest disabling of this feature, but I think it would be an awesome addition for group leaders (and especially owners) to have an option to allow or deny UserCP group applications.

All too often I have seen group join requests, from people who have no qualification or simply spam group invite requests in a blind hope to get accepted somewhere.

Id recommend an added option where the Group Owners can determine if they want to allow or deny UserCP group requests or not.

All within an hour or so, same person 4x within an hour.

If we reported every kid who did this, Staff would get pissed at the leaders from the constant reports.

How many groups do we have? I am sure majority of these members apply to numerous groups at the same time, and in repetition.

If the owner of the group doesn't want join requests, you can most likely message Omni to disable the feature for you just like he did for Specialists. I'm not sure it costs money or if Omni will even do that for group owners anymore. But I know that it has been done in the past. It would require an extra plugin to allow group owners/leaders to enable/disable the Join Request feature I believe. So I'm not very confident that it'll happen.

Again, maybe its just the fact I refresh so often for my messages at times, but I am constantly hammered with these requests, to nearly nausea.

Pretty sure that would also get annoying to staff with the constant messages about group join abuse.

The group system for MyBB doesn't fill our needs well enough. I have to code a buttload of stuff for it. I have plans to eventually take care of this.
