Cloudflare update
On October the 14th our administrator Omniscient announced that he enabled additional Cloudflare features on Hack Forums. These features could help prevent all sorts of advanced DDos attacks. Members have reacted in a very positive way to the new additional security measure for HF despite the fact that many members saw a temporarely banned by Cloudflare message when Omniscient was implementing this change to Hack Forums. >>Source

zSerity: Welcome to edition #313 Romania, it's my pleasure to have you as my first interviewee. Before we get into the question, are there any shoutouts you'd like to make? Maybe to your Mom and Dad?
Romania: No, I do not have parents. Sorry. But thank you for choosing me as your first interviewee!

zSerity: In my interviews, I want to focus on asking sort of out-of-the-box questions rather than the general, 'why did you join hack forums?' So that's unfortunate to hear, but ties into my first question - Do you have any relatives in jail? And if I get fired and this is my last interview, I just want you to know that I wouldn't have picked anyone else. <3
Romania: LOL. Alright, first thing first; I do have one “relative” that went to prison. It isn’t anyone I’ve ever met and he isn’t directly related. He has received the nickname of “Bob the Murderer” due to his crime. He allegedly stabbed his previous girlfriend 50+ times with scissors. Here comes the comic relief; his current girlfriend, a relative on the uneducated, likely incest, side of my family, asserts that he “tripped and accidentally stabbed her”.

zSerity: Speaking of stabbing your girlfriend 50+ times, what's your favorite horror movie and why?
Romania: I don’t watch many horror movies because the people surrounding me refuse to watch any; although, I suppose The Conjuring II would be my favorite. It had a relatively interesting plot line, and was definitely creepy.

zSerity: That was a bit too easy to answer. I'm going to throw a deep one at you and really want you to think... Just imagine that you’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Romania: White. A combination of all colors within the visible spectrum; plus, I’m white.

zSerity White was always the most useless crayon in the box. You didn't exactly nail that one pal. Okay, you're a homework guy just like me, one of my respectable competitors - What do you think is the most useless class being taught in high schools?
Romania: In most high schools, I’d say that the majority of classes will yield useless results for the participating students. The public education system (in the United States) needs to focus more on identifying a student’s future much earlier. With a previous enrollment to a prestigious boarding school, I encountered many different cultures. One of the Asian students discussed his younger education with me; his country requires a standardized test which tells them the field they’re best for. Our country should take these leaps and bounds to form a similar test, assist in the education development, and better the youth of our country. In my specific school, the business courses were a real joke; even the faculty members acknowledged such.

zSerity: That's a great response, and I definitely agree. We get to see first hand the material being distributed all around the country, and honestly the world, and I'd have to say most of it is useless information I didn't retain. Speaking of homework material, what is one of the strangest and/or laughable requests you've received that made you shocked someone paid you to do it? One thing I can remember is, some poor guy paying me to write his girlfriend a love poem that just broke up with him. Maybe not the wisest choice.
Romania: I haven’t had anything as comical as that. The most unqualified position I fulfilled was writing a 18 page final exam for a Bachelor Degree in Interior Architectural Design. Let’s just say, many hours were designated to research alone. I’ve had several requests of writing a fake doctors note, dentist note, and even parent note. I’ve had to write signatures and all.

zSerity: It's almost crazy some of the things people order, and also sometimes desperate. I remember once being offered only an olive garden gift card to complete a 10-page essay within 24-hours.
Romania: Yeah, the most memorable encounter I’ve got was people asking for a research paper consisting of 12 pages due within an hour. Also, they requested to pay $60. As you, and many assignment services know, that’s insane. Additionally, it was a single-spaced 12-page essay. It makes me wonder what had to go on in life for the person to wait until an hour before with a paper of that length.

zSerity: Haha that's ridiculous. Just like my next question, which is, would you rather give up cheese or bread? And if you're lactose intolerant, I'm sorry.
Romania: I’d rather give up cheese. Fuck cheese. I legitimately do not like cheese on any food except nachos. This will be the birth of the most prevalent movement of our generation: #FuckTheCheese.

zSerity: #FuckTheCheese get it trending on Twitter Hack Forum's users who may be reading this. I hope someone is reading this, or I will be the only one to ever know how bad you are at picking symbolic crayon colors. I think black would have been better for you btw. Before we go, is there anything you'd like to say? Maybe an inspirational message to leave the members with?
Romania: Yes. The forum needs to take an initiative and make HackForums safe again. random person has now achieved four black hatter awards; beware of his spooky ability. In conclusion, the forum needs to keep one thing in mind: let’s make the marketplace safer for billie joe.

Haitians Advise Against Donating to American Red Cross
Haiti has recently suffered from the impact of Hurricane Matthew. The death count approaches 900, and the country is experiencing an outbreak of cholera. Yet despite the dire needs of the Haitians, many of them are requesting that people avoid donating to the American Red Cross (ARC). The ARC has been accused of poorly managing nearly half a billion dollars meant for Haiti in the past. In one such instance, the ARC promised to build 700 permanent homes in Haiti, but allegedly only completed six. A joint investigation by ProPublica and NPR has affirmed there is a misrepresentation regarding success of ARC projects, but the Red Cross objects to the accuracy of the findings. Currently, people have been asked to give to Haitian organizations if they wish to support the country. >>Source

Philippines’ President Duterte Orders US Forces out After 65 Years
A 65-year military alliance between the United States and the Philippines has been brought to a halt. As a result of tensions between the two countries, President Duterte has made plans to suspend joint military patrols, and has told American troops to exit the country. According to Duterte’s defense minister, the procedures under the 1951 defense treaty will no longer continue. As a result of the strain in relations between the two countries, Duterte says he may contact Russia or China in the future to obtain equipment. Duterte feels the US has unfairly treated his country “like a doormat”. >>Source

An Estimated two Trillion Galaxies Exist in our Universe
A new publication from the Astronomical Journal states that astronomers now believe there to be two trillion galaxies in the universe. Twenty years of observation from the Hubble Telescope provided the necessary data for adequate 3D models of the universe to be created. This number comes as a surprise to some in the scientific community, as the number of galaxies is up to twenty times higher than previous estimates. Given the vastness of the universe, current technology only allows scientists to study 10% of galaxies in the cosmos. When the universe was only a few billion years old, it is estimated that there were ten times as many galaxies. >>Source

Possible Red Dead Announcement Coming Soon
Rockstar Games riled up the internet this week by teasing an announcement related to Red Dead! Rockstar Games tweeted out a photo of their logo, but in the color red without any other context. The studio's social media accounts all now feature the new logo instead of its traditional black and yellow or white one. The Rockstar Newswire, where the studio delivers the latest announcements, also features the image. As the name of the series would lead you to believe, the color red was a key component of Red Dead Redemption's visual aesthetic, most noticeably used in promotional artwork and its loading screens. This is what connects the tease to the acclaimed Western series. However, as it stands, it is unclear if the teaser is for a re-release of Red Dead Redemption or a long awaited follow-up! In April 2016, an image of what was said to be the map for Red Dead Redemption 2's game world appeared online. At the time, "a source close to the development of the new Red Dead game" was reported as confirming it as "a very recent art direction map." The aforementioned leaked provides some weight to the legitimacy of the rumors of an entirely new game being announced soon. The rumor mills are in full spin, so sit tight and perhaps I'll have some more exciting news regarding the teased announcement next week! >>Source

Final Fantasy 14's Latest Expansion: Stormblood
Square Enix has announced the next expansion for PC and PS4 MMO Final Fantasy XIV, Stormblood. The expansion was revealed during the keynote of Final Fantasy XIV's 2016 Fan Festival in Las Vegas today. Director Naoki Yoshida took to the stage to provide an overview of the expansion and the accompanying 4.0 update. It takes place in the location of Ala Mhigo and will have players face off against a bad guy by the name of Zenos. The update will increase the level cap from 60 to 70 and will introduce new jobs and equipment. Unfortunately, Yoshia didn't reveal any specifics regarding the new jobs. However, Yoshida did promise that the expansion, Stormblood, will have a "full standalone game's worth of content." The update will be massive and even the battle system is being totally revamped. Skills will be re-categorized to make it easier to switch between jobs and skills that aren't used much or have little purpose will most likely be taken out. This is mostly likely to appeal to casuals players. The crowd erupted when it was announced that the item inventory will undergo an "extreme" expansion as well! A lot of exciting news was dropped upon, but according to Yoshida, it is just the beginning. Yoshida concluded the keynote by saying what was announced today was "just an introduction," with more details to be announced in the coming months. Resident Evil 7 Trailer Teases at Returning Character
Resident Evil 7 has been shrouded in mystery since its announcement and it isn't a surprise that their latest trailer was just as ambiguous as most of the information we are aware of. The 36-second video that Capcom released shows the game's protagonist answering a ringing phone and being given a warning by a mysterious female voice on the other end. The video was posted on Twitter by the official Resident Evil account along with a message that reads "That voice ... who could it be?" This accompanying text has sparked speculation among fans that a character from the series' history could be making a return. Most fans immediately jumped to Resident Evil regular, Ada Wong, because mystery is more her style than anyone else we're aware of. However, when you listen closely there is a distinct accent. The voice on the other end of the mysterious call sounds strikingly similar to Resident Evil 5's Sheva Alomar. They simultaneously released another video that showcases some of the artillery that will be available in the game. That shotgun looks like it can do some serious damage. Resident Evil 7 is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017. A deluxe version of Resident Evil 7 will be available for $89.99 and includes the game and a season pass with three extra story chapters. >>Source
