Do I open up a dispute if seller hasnt responded in 24 hrs?

As soon as I sent the seller the payment, he went offline and hasnt responded for 24hrs, also hasnt visited HF for 24hrs. Also due to the timezone, its likely that he wont respond for another 12 hours (36). Should I open up a dispute or just wait? I dont think he is scamming, but 36 hours to send me a code :/

I'd wait 2 days. He might be doing IRL stuff.

I would always give a good 48hrs sometimes people have in real life issues to sort out, if he doesn't contact you after that then I would make one. Make sure to post it with the appropriate proof and UID of the person.

I'd wait a few more hours worse comes to worse he responds and resolves the deal dispute, won't be the end of world.
