GTA V Stock Clocks:
Mostly high 1080p: Spoiler (Click to View)
Min 25fps
Max 55fps
Avg 32fps
CPU bottleneck 100%
GPU 80%
The CPU was pinned at 100% for 90% of the game play, it dropped to 60% from time to time but it's clear it is causing a bottleneck for the 7850 pretty hard.
Overclocked:
Found the best CPU overclock I can get out of this chip, which is still a +50% (1.2GHz) OC so not too shabby!
3.6GHz @ 1.42v - 70-75c Spoiler (Click to View)
GTA V Overclocked:
Same settings as the stock clocks @ 1080p:
Min 31fps
Max 65fps
Avg 35fps
CPU 100%
GPU 80%
The CPU was pinned at 100% again for the majority of the game play, it dropped to 80% from time to time but it's still causing a bottleneck for the 7850 even after the 50% OC.
The minimum FPS went up 6 and the average went up a few frames but still the CPU is the big bottleneck for GTA V.
DOOM Overclocked:
Ulrta settings using Vulkan @ 1080p:
Min 17fps
Max 25fps
Avg 40fps
CPU 55%
GPU 99%
It would seem the GPU was the component holding the game back in this test.

I actually looked up the CPU you was using, intel core 2, to see if it was good...
I realised like after 10 minutes that this was somehow a troll lol.
I'm so shit at this :(

? No troll.....
I came across an old PC with a Q6600 SLACR and I had 99% of the components to build a PC with it.
The Q6600 wasn't too bad back in the day.
A quad core @2.4GHz that many could OC to 3.6GHz and some up to 4.0GHz.
I will be adding more results when I get home as well as some pictures!
