skype resolve

I've been on skype and heard the sound of a phone ringing. I thought it was my house phone cause it sounded exactly like it but it wasnt.

It happened 3 times within 30mins of me using skype and I have never heard the ringing before.

Just wondering if someone was calling me through skype to resolve my IP or something.

skype-DEOB(deobfuscated) is an old version of skype which doesn't encrypt any logs. Therefore it will show the decrypted ip of someone you're speaking to very easily.

It stands for Deobfuscated. It's an older version of Skype that doesn't have any logs that are encrypted.
Nigga how would we know? Check yoru skype and see. And yes they can get your ip by doing that IF you have them added
I just reinstalled windows and installed skype today so I'd guess I was using the latest version of skype?

Does skype-DEOB work if they have the older version even if I have the latest version/release?

I was using skype at the time, I never noticed any incoming calls but I could hear the ringing. Im fairly new to skype, well im not new to it but I have never really explored its settings or capabilities so not even sure how to check if someone called me.

Use skype online on the web. Or use skype mobile and you wont have to worry about skype deob
