The limit is to ensure that the group stays HQ. And again there are lots of ways to monetize a group selling buy ins isn't the only way of making money lol.

The Society is an exception.

You are not allowed to sell Buyins.
You are not allowed to ask for donation from group members.
You are not allowed to add more than 7 members to the sector.

Also I've updated the OP with the correct information about member limits.

You're allowed to recruit 7 members that aren't already in Nightmare. You're allowed to recruit any members that are already in Nightmare (Recruiting a member who's already in Nightmare won't effect your 7 member limit, but if they get kicked from Nightmare they will no longer be apart of your sector unless you offer them one of the 7 member slots)

So in theory you can have yourself plus 7 non Nightmare members plus as many Nightmare members as you like in the sector.

I hope this clears up some things 🤝

Best of luck with the sale mate, after hours of speaking to business partners about this we decided to give it a miss. Great opportunity for people that have the desire to run a group but dont have either the approval from omni or the money to purchase a group. A sector is the next best thing.
