Flash Drive - Alive or Extinct?

Are flash drives really worth buying and what value does it have? if so, how many times have you guys ever gotten 1 and do you ever think it will possibly 1 day die out?
Very useful, physically having your files is much safer than the alternative of just using cloud storage.
Good question(s):

1) Yes - storage and convenience
2) I've gotten one over 9000 times
3) It's possible anything can die out but flash memory is becoming increasingly popular.

What about you?

Lost 3, Don't hav 1 anymore but hoping to get 1, Just today, I found out the value as I realised that I would have to upload to one drive then download again at my home. Ya, I believe it will possibly never die out but since people buy 1, what is the need to buy another?
Back at it again, faggot.
Yes, they are great for bootable media and I use them for all sorts of operating systems and tools to easily move between machines.

Most people now days have multiple backups if they need it. I have multiple flash drives and drives and I'm glad I do.

Of course I would, I have around 20 USB thumbdrives currently and do need some more.

Yes, this is the main reason I use them too, mainly for installing operating systems as it's much faster and better in general than a writable DVD.
I love my flash drives. I have multiple for different uses & I also have an external hard drive for bulk storage. I don't think flash drives will be dead anytime soon, they will just get smaller in physical size and more portable.
