You know when you have exhausted all of your 'giveable' reputations, how does the timer concerning when you can next give a reputation work?
Is it based on the when you exhausted all of your reputations,
Is it based on a daily timer,
Is it based on each individual reputation as to when you are awarded more? Meaning you would be able to post a new reputation 24 hours after the first one.
Sorry if this is a bit confusing, I almost confused myself writing it.

I'm pretty sure each reputation has it's own timer. So 24 hours after you rep someone you can rep again.
I'm pretty sure it's based on when you exhausted all of your rep. Say you gave me rep right now at December 20th, 12:06PM CST, you'd have to wait till December 21st, 12:06PM CST.
I'm not most certain what it's actually based on, but I've come to the conclusion that, that might be what it is based on.
I'm currently running a MyBB forum and I can tell you, that there is no other setting than how much rep users are allowed to give, and how many per day. There's no other setting than that, so yes I'm pretty sure I'm correct.

I dunno, it seems like I am always able to use all of my reputations in 1 period rather than being able to give more throughout the day.
I was wondering the same thing just the other day. It seemed to me that i was able to give a rep once 24h from the first rep given the day before was up. Not sure if i'm right tho
It's not per "day", it's 5 reps every 24 hours. So you can say each rep has it's own individual timer. After you give one rep, it will reset in 24 hours.

From personal experience i believe the cool down is based off of the longest rep given to end its 24 cool down time.
So if I give a rep at 1pm and then the other 4x reps at 5-6pm, my first available rep after cool down would be 1pm the next day, and followed by 5-6pm cool downs for the others.
tl;dr - I believe each rep (1/5) has its own cool down period.

Okay thank you guys. I think my fucked up sleep routine really messes with my ability to give rep when and where I want to :P
p.s. I'll go with armada's answer, user is usually never wrong.
