It's better than the UK police by any sense of the imagination. Some of our most serious emergency calls that require police attendance or terror responses are investigated like they were a minor traffic violation. 7/7 Bombings for example. Our MI5 had intelligence on the matter and still failed to do anything about it. A bomb scare in Bristol last month right outside a police station, What did they do.... exploded the car in a " controlled manner " stupid as it could have contained enough explosives to flatten the city.

Our police are a lot more backwards than American and the same would apply in my opinion to our not so secret secret service.

Think...police reads there is a man with a bomb in building. At least they have to make some controls. This costs money...even if they find nothing. It is a crime.

To make police moving for nothing is a crime itself.

If it was not an act against the US president well to be US president as I don't believe he has actually come into power yet has he? Anyway usually it would fall under the " Malicious communications act " using electronic devices to cause distress / fear / anxiety you can read more about the act online. My friend was charged with something similar however this was in the UK and whilst directed to a government body. Nothing to this level.

Not really. It was more about a threat assessment IMHO. It was quickly established it wasn't me but they have to make reports. Ever read about terrorists and how at some point they were interviewed. Well, that's a bit like how it felt. They wanted to figure out my threat level, which is zero, but they still need to create a report. The clown who did do this should be looked at a lot more seriously.

I gotta believe this person has committed multiple felonies. He better pray he's not 18 and that they go easy on him. I'm hoping the opposite and he gets the book thrown at him. It's more fun that way.
