I understand how it works; it fails inevitably. However, you are overlooking the tweaking when it does down which allowed for it to last much longer than it should, it also cuts it's losses and bets half it twice in a row, etc. This could drastically increase the security of this; obviously it's never 100% guaranteed, I've accepted that.
