Trying to figure out what tablet to get, someone help.
Osu - What tablet? |
|
Wacom line Ctl 460, 470, 480
Xp pen G430 Gaomon s56k Huion 420 (or osu! variant) I personally main the ctl 460(have owned 470) I got way back in the day but I also own the osu! tablet which is alright to. I prefer the smoother surface of the 460 because I drag. From my research on the other tablets regarding the surface the xp pen g430 has a scratchy surface and the gaomon has a smooth one so take that into account if you drag. Apparently the gaomon and xp pen are more responsive though I don't think you will really notice the difference from what people say. \\

It's alright as a budget first tablet if you only play for a few songs a day but I would suggest investing in something a bit better if you intend on playing it as a casual game. I've been playing casually from time to time since day 1 (4 years ago haha) so I thought it was time to try out playing on a tablet is best now :p (Jan 9, 2017 01:04 PM)Egregious Wrote: Holy shit, you play osu on that big of a screen? I mean I have the same size but I reduce the size of osu to like 1280x720 or something cause I thought it was too far apart LOL..

As long as it's relative movement you'll be fine. Running the Wacom Comic right now, but I'm pretty bad. http://www.wacom.com/en-us/products/intuos-comic (Jan 9, 2017 01:04 PM)Egregious Wrote: That Mamba tho.

I can't speak from personal experience about the XP pen g430 but it should be as light or ligher then the Wacom pens because it doesn't require a battery. Does that have latency problems like the 490 Intuos line? \\

I haven't noticed any latency at all honestly. (Jan 10, 2017 09:20 PM)Tsunfire Wrote: Is that what the community said? Yeah if you look in the gameplay section you'll find a thread about it. Driver updates helped a bit but people say its basically the hardware holding it back. If its your first tablet its something you learned to play with so you don't notice it. Similar to having the "Enhance mouse pointer" option checked gaming back in the day. \\

How long did you use it for and why would you downgrade? My friend uses the pro for art and he loves it. Were you only planning on using it for osu! ? \\
