I finished this past semester with a 4.0, so I applied to the Honor's Academy (2 days late too 🤣). Got the news today that I got accepted.

It's insane that I went from a student with an IEP (Independent Education Plan) to an honor student. I was the kid that failed every English SOL for years, but that changed overtime. Although I am still not a person who is fanatic about books, my reading & writing skills have improved significantly.
I am about to transfer into the school of my dreams this upcoming fall & I am learning how to code as of today. Note about coding: I took a java class in high school, but it was a complete utter joke; this time I want to actually learn and apply myself.
Life is good. 🤗
yo bro you can give me some honors oral anytime; just hmu

My head shook in despair when I read it, but it turned into laughter. What else can I expect from hackforum members? Haha.

Why not
Achievement: a thing done successfully, typically by effort, courage, or skill.
Getting good grades = effort

Getting good grades = effort I'd take a guess and say he is not in college. Honestly, I didn't care about grades back when I was in high school; wouldn't even say I tried (graduated with a 3.15 GPA). I did not see it as an achievement as the public school system is entirely flawed, and I figured I was going to go to a community college.
In college, you should care about your grades. Having and maintaining A's in college is not hard until finals come. All my finals were 25% - 35% of my grade.
